Makeover

I finished this adorable little girl up and got her back to her mom. I was very nervous about tackling this one. I don't do make overs often but Heidi Jo's mommy is a friend and asked so I did it. I am very happy with the results. So here is the before and after collage and a few after pictures.

So many changes

It has been quite a while since I have blogged. Our family has grown by two.....daughters-in-love. We are incredibly blessed! I am still creating beautiful reborn dolls, soft dolls, and stitched and crocheted things. I am still collecting reborns and have started collecting Cabbage Patch kids as well. 

I have always loved CPKs but never adopted one for myself until last November. Since then I have adopted 3 more. 

I have also become interested in ancestry. I have been researching my family and found so many interesting things. After DNA testing, I have found a few cousins, even some distance famous ones. 

That's about it for now. As always, God is good....all the time. Hope to see you again soon. 

Finished Jewel

It's bedtime, but I wanted to share sweet Jewel. His mommy is thrilled with him. I hope to have another opportunity soon to create another of this sweet kit. 

New Jewel is on the left. Old Jewel is on the right. I still love the old style Jewel best but humbly admit I've made some pretty babies with the new Jewel kit. 😉

Easter swap

I participated in the Easter bald baby swap on Bountiful Baby's forum. My partner was Bette Lanbert of Heartstrings Nursery. Here is the sweet baby boy she created for me. He is made from the Spencer sculpt by Wendy Dickison. I call him Xander

And here is Gemma Rose, the baby I created for Bette. She is from the Gemma kit by Donna RuBert. She is one of my favorite ones I have created. 

First baby of 2016

I finished my first baby of the year on Jan 11th. I can't show photos yet because she has been entered in a contest. I will tell you that her name is Emerald Jo. We are calling her Emma Jo. Hopefully I can share her soon....stay tuned!
